Delete your Fret Quest account
You can delete your Fret Quest account and its data at any time, from the app or from this page, without reinstalling the app.
In the app
- Open Fret Quest and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
By email
Email support@summitlanestudios.com from the address on your account with the subject “Fret Quest account deletion”. To protect your account we will confirm the request from that address before deleting.
What is deleted
Your account, sign-in record, learning progress, bard character, family and band membership, practice summaries, duel scores, any Tavern stage clips you shared, and unused gold. Recordings saved on your device are erased by the in-app deletion.
What may be kept, and for how long
We delete your data from our live systems within 30 days of your request; copies in backups are overwritten within a further 90 days. We may keep limited records where the law requires (such as purchase and tax records, generally up to 7 years) or to resolve disputes and prevent fraud. Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat are kept under their own policies.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel in your App Store account (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions).
